Olhos de Água, the beach paradise

12-09-2022

Olhos de Água was a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Albufeira, having been extinguished in 2013 as part of a national administrative reform, being then aggregated to the parish of Albufeira, creating a new parish called "Albufeira e Olhos d'Água". In the past Olhos de Agua was a fishing village, but since the explosion of tourism it has become very popular due to its magnificent beaches and scenery, becoming a vacation destination for many. It is located on the best coastline in Portugal, where Praia da Falésia is to the east and the beaches of Santa Eulália and Maria Luísa to the west.

Here there are several restaurants and an incredible social nightlife, and there are also many daytime activities and excursions, which include scenic boat trips, exciting water parks and historic towns to explore. This village is the ideal destination for those who want to have a relaxing vacation and still have the option of being close to the excitement of the nightlife.

This place is intended more for families and romantic getaways than for large groups or people who want to party, as although there is nightlife, it is not that extreme liveliness, and they will find the atmosphere there too drab. For those who want to make historical visits, this is not the appropriate place either, as there are not many things to visit, this is a place more suited for beachcombing and sightseeing. If you feel like relaxing but still having fun, this is the best place to do it. Come visit this beach paradise.
